Landscapes Pictures - Ahead Of Any Trip
I actually don't think there's any other photography subject that rewards attempt as much as landscape does. To shoot really great landscape graphics you need to be up before the rooster as well as house after the nightingale goes to sleep. There are times that you have to walk all day and it is often too cold or too hot. In the light of this, I reckon that your comfort is as important as your photographic eye and technique.
You can not - or at least I can not - take good picture if you're cold, hot, or weary. I can't walk if I 'm fed up with having a sunburnt neck or if my feet are raw. There are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible, even though you can not control the weather. You'll be free to shoot masterpieces once your personal needs have all been cared for. The following list comprises a number of the points that I believe are crucial for practically any landscape photography trip:

Put on a top that has a collar.
Always bring a hat: these are crucial in both cold and hot climates.
Wear good waterproof hiking boots with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a water bottle that is full.
If it's sunny don't' forget your sunblock.
Take a torch in case you get lost and you must find your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful in case you must stay warm, and it folds down to a size that is very small.
Take a cell phone in the event of emergency, battery full charge.
If you're driving remember to landmark your car: park it near a vast tree or stone, for example - it's easier to get lost than you might believe.
A compass will help too (but don't leave it in the auto!)
