Landscapes Photography - Prior To Any Holiday
I actually don't believe there is any other photography subject that rewards effort as much as landscape does. To take landscape graphics that are really good after the nightingale goes to sleep you need to be up before the rooster and house. Sometimes you need to walk all day and it's frequently too cold or too hot. In the light of this, I reckon your comfort is as significant as technique and your photographic eye.
You can't - or at least I can not - take great picture if you are hot, cold, or drained. I can not walk if I am fed up with having a sunburnt neck or if my feet are raw. There are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible, although you can not control the weather. Once all your personal needs have been cared for, you will be free to shoot at masterpieces. The following list contains a number of the points that I think are essential for any landscape photography trip:

Wear a shirt that's a collar.
Consistently take a hat: these are essential in both hot and cold climates.
Wear good waterproof hiking boots with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a full water bottle.
When it's bright don't' forget your sunblock.
Require a torch in the event you get lost and you also need to seek out your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful in the event you need to stay warm, and it folds down to a very small size.
Take a mobile phone battery full charge, in case of crisis.
If you're driving recall to watershed your car: park it near a huge tree or rock, for example - it is more easy to get lost than you may think.
A compass will help too (however don't leave it in the auto!)
