Landscapes Pictures - Prior To Making Any Trip
I really don't believe there is any other photography topic that rewards attempt as much as landscape does. To shoot extremely great landscape graphics after the nightingale goes to sleep, you have to be up before the rooster as well as dwelling. There are times that you need to walk all day and it's generally too hot or too cold. In the light of this, I reckon your comfort is as significant as your photographic eye and technique.
You can't - or at least I can't - take great picture if you are hot, cold, or tired. I can not walk if I am fed up with having a sunburnt neck or if my feet are sore. Although the weather can't be controlled by you, there are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible. Once all your personal needs are cared for, you will be free to shoot at masterpieces. This list features a number of the points that I believe are essential for practically any landscape photography trip:

Put on a shirt that's a collar.
Always take a hat: these are crucial in both hot and cold climates.
Wear good hiking boots that are waterproof with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a full water bottle.
If it's sunny don't' forget your sunblock.
Take a torch in the event you get lost and you also have to seek out your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful in the event you have to stay warm, and it folds down to a size that is very small.
Take a mobile phone battery full charge, in the event of crisis.
If you're driving remember to milestone your car: park it near a huge tree or rock, for example - it is more easy to get lost than you might think.
A compass will help also (however don't leave it in the car!)
