Landscapes Pictures - Before Making Any Adventure
I really don't believe there is any other photography topic that rewards effort as much as landscape does. To shoot really good landscape pictures following the nightingale goes to sleep, you need to be up before the rooster as well as house. Sometimes you have to walk and it's frequently too cold or too hot. In the light of this, I reckon your comfort is as important as technique and your photographic eye.
You can not - or at least I can not - if you are tired, hot, or cold, take good picture. I can not walk if I 'm fed up with having a sunburnt neck or if my feet are raw. Although the weather can't be controlled by you, there are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible. You will be free to shoot masterpieces once all your personal needs have been cared for. This list comprises a number of the points whom I believe are vital for any landscape photography excursion:

Put on a top that has a collar.
Consistently carry a hat: these are crucial in both cold and hot climates.
Wear good hiking boots that are waterproof with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a complete water bottle.
When it's bright don't' forget your sunblock.
Require a torch in case you get lost and you need to seek out your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful if you must stay warm, and it folds down to a tiny size.
Take a cell phone battery full charge, in case of emergency.
If you are driving remember to milestone your car: park it near a huge tree or rock, for example - it's more easy to get lost than you may think.
A compass will help too (but do not leave it in the auto!)
