Landscapes Digital Photography - Prior To Any Getaway
I actually don't think there's any other photography topic that rewards attempt as much as landscape does. To take really great landscape images you need to be up before the rooster and home after the nightingale goes to sleep. Sometimes you have to walk and it's often too cold or too hot. In the light of this, I reckon that your comfort is as important as technique and your photographic eye.
You can't - or at least I can not - take great picture if you're weary, hot, or cold. I can't walk if I am fed up with having a sunburnt neck or if my feet are sore. Even though you can not control the weather, there are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible. Once your personal needs have all been cared for, you will be free to shoot masterpieces. The following list comprises some of the points whom I believe are vital for any landscape photography trip:

Put on a top that's a collar.
Consistently carry a hat: these are essential in both hot and cold climates.
Wear good waterproof hiking boots with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a water bottle that is full.
When it's bright do not' forget your sunblock.
Take a torch in the event you get lost and you also must locate your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful in the event you have to stay warm, and it folds down to a size that is tiny.
Take a mobile phone battery full charge, in the event of emergency.
If you're driving recall to watershed your car: park it near a vast tree or rock, for example - it's easier to get lost than you might believe.
A compass will help too (but do not leave it in the auto!)
