Landscapes Images - Prior To Any Travel
I do not think there is any other photography theme that rewards attempt as much as landscape does. To shoot really great landscape pictures after the nightingale goes to sleep you have to be up before the rooster as well as dwelling. There are times that you have to walk all day and it's also generally too hot or too cold. In the light of this, I reckon your comfort is as important as your photographic eye and technique.
You can't - or at least I can't - take great picture if you are weary, hot, or cold. I can not walk if I 'm fed up with having a sunburnt neck or if my feet are raw. There are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible, even though you can not control the weather. You'll be free to shoot masterpieces once your personal needs have all been cared for. The following list contains a number of the points whom I think are crucial for any landscape photography excursion:

Put on a shirt that's a collar.
Always take a hat: these are essential in both hot and cold climates.
Wear good waterproof hiking boots with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a water bottle that is full.
When it's bright don't' forget your sunblock.
Take a torch in the event you get lost and you also have to seek out your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful in the event you have to keep warm, and it folds down to a size that is very small.
Take a mobile phone in case of crisis, battery full charge.
If you're driving recall to milestone your car: park it near a huge tree or rock, for example - it's more easy to get lost than you might think.
A compass will help too (however do not leave it in the auto!)
