Landscapes Digital Photography - Prior To You Making Any Vacation
I don't believe there is any other photography theme that rewards attempt as much as landscape does. To take landscape graphics that are really great you need to be up before the rooster and dwelling following the nightingale goes to sleep. Sometimes you need to walk and it's also generally too cold or too hot. In the light of this, I reckon that your comfort is as important as technique and your photographic eye.
You can not - or at least I can't - if you are tired, hot, or cold, take great picture. I can not walk if my feet are sore or if I am fed up with having a sunburnt neck. Although the weather can't be controlled by you, there are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible. Once all your personal needs have been cared for, you will be free to shoot masterpieces. The following list features a number of the points whom I believe are crucial for any landscape photography excursion:

Put on a shirt that has a collar.
Consistently carry a hat: these are vital in both cold and hot climates.
Wear great hiking boots that are waterproof with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a full water bottle.
If it's sunny do not' forget your sunblock.
Take a torch in case you get lost and you also have to locate your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful if you have to keep warm, and it folds down to a rather small size.
Take a cell phone in the event of emergency, battery full charge.
If you are driving remember to milestone your car: park it near a huge tree or stone, for example - it's more easy to get lost than you may believe.
A compass will help too (but do not leave it in the auto!)
