Landscapes Pictures - Before Making Any Excursion
I really don't think there's any other photography subject that rewards effort as much as landscape does. To take really great landscape images after the nightingale goes to sleep, you need to be up before the rooster and dwelling. Sometimes you need to walk and it is frequently too cold or too hot. In the light of this, I reckon that your comfort is as important as technique and your photographic eye.
You can't - or at least I can not - take great picture if you're hot, cold, or tired. I can't walk if I am fed up with having a sunburnt neck or if my feet are raw. Even though the weather can't be controlled by you, there are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible. You'll be free to shoot masterpieces once your personal needs have all been cared for. This list comprises some of the points that I think are essential for any landscape photography excursion:

Put on a top that's a collar.
Consistently bring a hat: these are crucial in both cold and hot climates.
Wear good waterproof hiking boots with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a full water bottle.
When it's sunny don't' forget your sunblock.
Require a torch in the event you get lost and you also have to find your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful in the event you have to stay warm, and it folds down to a tiny size.
Take a mobile phone battery full charge, in the event of emergency.
If you are driving recall to milestone your car: park it near a vast tree or stone, for example - it is simpler to get lost than you may think.
A compass will help too (however do not leave it in the auto!)
