Landscapes Digital Photography - Prior To You Making Any Excursion
I actually don't believe there is any other photography theme that rewards attempt as much as landscape does. To take extremely great landscape images following the nightingale goes to sleep, you have to be up before the rooster and dwelling. There are times that you need to walk all day and it is often too cold or too hot. In the light of this, I reckon your comfort is as important as technique and your photographic eye.
You can't - or at least I can not - take great picture if you are hot, cold, or weary. I can't walk if my feet are raw or if I 'm fed up with having a sunburnt neck. There are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible, even though you can't control the weather. You'll be free to shoot masterpieces once your personal needs have all been cared for. This list contains some of the points whom I believe are crucial for practically any landscape photography excursion:

Wear a top that's a collar.
Always carry a hat: these are crucial in both cold and hot climates.
Wear good hiking boots that are waterproof with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a water bottle that is full.
If it's bright don't' forget your sunblock.
Take a torch in the event you get lost and you need to find your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful if you have to stay warm, and it folds down to a very small size.
Take a cell phone in case of emergency, battery full charge.
If you're driving recall to landmark your car: park it near a vast tree or rock, for example - it is more easy to get lost than you might believe.
A compass will help also (but don't leave it in the auto!)
