Landscapes Digital Photography - Ahead Of Any Adventure
I actually don't believe there's any other photography topic that rewards effort as much as landscape does. To take extremely great landscape images after the nightingale goes to sleep, you must be up before the rooster as well as dwelling. Sometimes you need to walk and it is generally too cold or too hot. In the light of this, I reckon that your comfort is as important as your photographic eye and technique.
You can not - or at least I can't - take good picture if you're hot, cold, or weary. I can't walk if I 'm fed up with having a sunburnt neck or if my feet are sore. Even though you can't control the weather, there are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible. You'll be free to shoot masterpieces once all your personal needs have been cared for. This list contains some of the points that I believe are essential for practically any landscape photography trip:

Put on a top that's a collar.
Always take a hat: these are essential in both cold and hot climates.
Wear good waterproof hiking boots with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a complete water bottle.
When it's bright do not' forget your sunblock.
Require a torch in the event you get lost and you also must locate your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful should you need to stay warm, and it folds down to a size that is very small.
Take a mobile phone in case of emergency, battery full charge.
If you're driving remember to landmark your car: park it near a huge tree or rock, for example - it's easier to get lost than you might think.
A compass will help too (however do not leave it in the car!)
