Landscapes Digital Photography - Before Making Any Vacation
I do not believe there's any other photography topic that rewards effort as much as landscape does. To take extremely great landscape pictures you have to be up before the rooster as well as dwelling after the nightingale goes to sleep. Sometimes you need to walk and it is frequently too hot or too cold. In the light of this, I reckon your comfort is as important as your photographic eye and technique.
You can not - or at least I can not - take good picture if you are cold, hot, or drained. I can not walk if I am fed up with having a sunburnt neck or if my feet are sore. Even though you can't control the weather, there are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible. You will be free to shoot masterpieces once all your personal needs are cared for. This list includes a number of the points whom I think are vital for practically any landscape photography excursion:

Put on a shirt that's a collar.
Consistently bring a hat: these are essential in both hot and cold climates.
Wear good waterproof hiking boots with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a water bottle that is full.
When it's sunny don't' forget your sunblock.
Take a torch in the event you get lost and you must locate your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful in case you must stay warm, and it folds down to a rather small size.
Take a cell phone battery full charge, in case of crisis.
In case you are driving recall to watershed your car: park it near a huge tree or rock, for example - it's simpler to get lost than you might believe.
A compass will help also (but don't leave it in the car!)
