Photo Tips About Coloured Photo Filters That Can Take Your Landscape Photography To The Following Level!
Now's photo suggestions are about colored photo filters that you should have in your camera bag at all times. And how to prevent losing them! Adding coloured photo filters to your shooting armory is a good method to get dramatically better landscape photography!
Photo tip #1 - What is a great way to put away your photo filters in order that they are easily obtainable?
They take up lots of room in your camera bag, if you maintain them inside their own original packaging. Room which could be better put to use for spare batteries, memory sticks (film?) And so forth. Plus, with them all jammed into a side pocket, you can not really tell what the filter is unless you take them all outside.
That's not much of a problem until the day you forget to put them back. It might cost you quite a lot of cash - and save the next photographer that shoots from that place a bundle.

Here's what you do... buy a zip shut CD/DVD case. Join it to your camera bag, and you'll never lose it.
The filters will fit in the plastic CD/DVD slots and by simply flipping through the pages, you pick out the one you want to utilize and may see the filters! My case is made by Case Logic and has really been keeping my filters for years. Should you need one camera cases are made by them too.
Photo Hint #2 - Coloured Filters. Buy them and do not purchase them.
The very next time you're viewing television - or visit the films, find the colors on the display. Especially pay attention to when the scene is imagined to represent morning or dusk. Often, the colours you see aren't natural and were inserted by colored filters.
You can't see the filter effect if done properly; as being shot at that time of day you simply accept the scene.
Sometimes, the manager lets the coloured filters become apparent and not blend in and may want something more edgy.
As I write this, there is a show on television called 'CSI - Miami!' Have a look at that one if you need to view a blatant use of colored filters. In fact they use them in my opinion, and it detracts from the show.

But on the other hand, they're making the big bucks and I'm not, so my opinion is probably wrong.
Like that's easily accomplished in Photoshop with a couple of clicks, in our photography, an overall color wash.
Plus, you've got more control over the amount of color saturation and so on... so I counsel you to save your money and not purchase solid color filters.
What I advocate is the fact that you get a few of the most popular split filters. At least get some pink ones and some tobacco ones. You can later decide on densities as well as other shades.
A split filter is one that is certainly coloured in the top and clear in the bottom. The dividing line can be sharp, or a gradual fade. (I advocate a gradual fade.)
This is used to color the sky without affecting the ground. The effect is more natural looking than a solid color wash - while in exactly the same time it's more difficult and time consuming to duplicate in Photoshop. Particularly with a gradual fade.
It is worth spending a couple of bucks and having them in your toolbox.
Adding colored photo filters to your shooting will take your landscape photography to a brand-new amount and provide it that 'WOW' factor. This photo trick can set you apart from the group and assist you to start winning photo contests.
