Landscapes Images - Before You Make Any Get-away
I do not think there's any other photography theme that rewards effort as much as landscape does. To take really great landscape pictures following the nightingale goes to sleep, you have to be up before the rooster as well as dwelling. There are times that you have to walk all day and it is often too hot or too cold. In the light of this, I reckon that your comfort is as significant as your photographic eye and technique.
You can not - or at least I can't - take good picture if you are cold, hot, or exhausted. I can't walk if I 'm fed up with having a sunburnt neck or if my feet are sore. Even though you can't control the weather, there are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible. Once your personal needs have all been cared for, you will be free to shoot masterpieces. This list features a number of the points whom I think are essential for practically any landscape photography trip:

Put on a shirt that has a collar.
Consistently carry a hat: these are crucial in both cold and hot climates.
Wear great waterproof hiking boots with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a full water bottle.
If it's sunny don't' forget your sunblock.
Take a torch in case you get lost and you also need to find your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful should you must keep warm, and it folds down to a size that is very small.
Take a cell phone in the event of emergency, battery full charge.
If you're driving remember to milestone your car: park it near a vast tree or rock, for example - it's more easy to get lost than you might believe.
A compass will help also (but do not leave it in the auto!)
