Landscapes Photography - In Advance Of Making Any Get-away
I don't think there's any other photography subject that rewards attempt as much as landscape does. To take landscape pictures that are extremely good you have to be up before the rooster as well as house following the nightingale goes to sleep. Sometimes you have to walk and it is generally too cold or too hot. In the light of this, I reckon that your comfort is as important as your photographic eye and technique.
You can not - or at least I can't - take good picture if you are tired, hot, or cold. I can't walk if I am fed up with having a sunburnt neck or if my feet are sore. There are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible, although you can't control the weather. You'll be free to shoot masterpieces once all your personal needs are cared for. This list comprises a number of the points that I believe are essential for practically any landscape photography trip:

Put on a top that's a collar.
Always take a hat: these are vital in both cold and hot climates.
Wear great hiking boots that are waterproof with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a full water bottle.
When it's bright do not' forget your sunblock.
Take a torch in the event you get lost and you have to locate your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful should you must stay warm, and it folds down to a size that is tiny.
Take a mobile phone in the event of crisis, battery full charge.
If you're driving remember to watershed your car: park it near a vast tree or rock, for example - it's more easy to get lost than you may believe.
A compass will help also (but do not leave it in the car!)
