Landscapes Pictures - Prior To Any Adventure
I don't believe there is any other photography topic that rewards effort as much as landscape does. To take landscape images that are extremely good following the nightingale goes to sleep, you must be up before the rooster and home. There are times that you need to walk and it's generally too hot or too cold. In the light of this, I reckon that your comfort is as significant as your photographic eye and technique.
You can't - or at least I can't - take great picture if you're cold, hot, or drained. I can't walk if my feet are sore or if I 'm fed up with having a sunburnt neck. Even though the weather can't be controlled by you, there are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible. You will be free to shoot masterpieces once your personal needs have all been cared for. The following list features some of the points whom I believe are vital for practically any landscape photography excursion:

Wear a shirt that's a collar.
Consistently bring a hat: these are crucial in both cold and hot climates.
Wear great hiking boots that are waterproof with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a water bottle that is complete.
When it's bright do not' forget your sunblock.
Require a torch in the event you get lost and you also must find your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful in case you must keep warm, and it folds down to a very small size.
Take a cell phone battery full charge, in the event of emergency.
If you're driving remember to landmark your car: park it near a huge tree or stone, for example - it is more easy to get lost than you might believe.
A compass will help also (but don't leave it in the car!)
