Landscapes Digital Photography - Just Before Any Trip
I do not think there is any other photography subject that rewards effort as much as landscape does. To shoot landscape images that are really great you need to be up before the rooster and dwelling after the nightingale goes to sleep. There are times that you need to walk all day and it's frequently too cold or too hot. In the light of this, I reckon your comfort is as significant as technique and your photographic eye.
You can't - or at least I can't - take great picture if you're hot, cold, or drained. I can not walk if my feet are raw or if I am fed up with having a sunburnt neck. There are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible although you can not control the weather. You'll be free to shoot masterpieces once your personal needs have all been cared for. This list features a number of the points that I believe are vital for practically any landscape photography excursion:

Put on a shirt that's a collar.
Consistently carry a hat: these are vital in both hot and cold climates.
Wear good hiking boots that are waterproof with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a full water bottle.
If it's bright do not' forget your sunblock.
Take a torch in the event you get lost and you also must locate your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful in case you need to keep warm, and it folds down to a size that is rather small.
Take a mobile phone battery full charge, in the event of crisis.
In case you are driving remember to milestone your car: park it near a huge tree or stone, for example - it's more easy to get lost than you may believe.
A compass will help too (but don't leave it in the car!)
