Landscapes Images - Prior To Making Any Trip
I do not believe there is any other photography theme that rewards attempt as much as landscape does. To shoot landscape graphics that are extremely good following the nightingale goes to sleep you must be up before the rooster and house. There are times that you have to walk and it's also frequently too hot or too cold. In the light of this, I reckon that your comfort is as important as your photographic eye and technique.
You can't - or at least I can't - take great picture if you are hot, cold, or tired. I can not walk if my feet are raw or if I am fed up with having a sunburnt neck. Although the weather can't be controlled by you, there are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible. You will be free to shoot masterpieces once your personal needs have all been cared for. The following list features some of the points that I think are crucial for any landscape photography excursion:

Wear a shirt that's a collar.
Always bring a hat: these are crucial in both hot and cold climates.
Wear good waterproof hiking boots with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a full water bottle.
When it's sunny don't' forget your sunblock.
Require a torch in the event you get lost and you also have to find your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful in the event you have to keep warm, and it folds down to a size that is tiny.
Take a cell phone in the event of emergency, battery full charge.
If you're driving remember to watershed your car: park it near a huge tree or rock, for example - it's simpler to get lost than you might think.
A compass will help too (but do not leave it in the car!)
