Landscapes Digital Photography - Before Making Any Get-away
I don't think there is any other photography topic that rewards attempt as much as landscape does. To take landscape pictures that are extremely great following the nightingale goes to sleep you have to be up before the rooster and dwelling. Sometimes you need to walk and it's also often too cold or too hot. In the light of this, I reckon your comfort is as important as your photographic eye and technique.
You can't - or at least I can not - take great picture if you are cold, hot, or drained. I can not walk if my feet are sore or if I am fed up with having a sunburnt neck. There are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible even though you can't control the weather. Once all your personal needs are cared for, you will be free to shoot at masterpieces. This list features a number of the points that I think are crucial for practically any landscape photography trip:

Wear a shirt that's a collar.
Always bring a hat: these are crucial in both hot and cold climates.
Wear great waterproof hiking boots with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a full water bottle.
When it's bright do not' forget your sunblock.
Require a torch in case you get lost and you must seek out your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful if you must stay warm, and it folds down to a size that is very small.
Take a cell phone in case of emergency, battery full charge.
If you're driving recall to watershed your car: park it near a vast tree or stone, for example - it's more easy to get lost than you might think.
A compass will help too (but don't leave it in the car!)
