Landscapes Digital Photography - Ahead Of Any Holiday
I actually don't believe there's any other photography theme that rewards effort as much as landscape does. To shoot landscape graphics that are really great after the nightingale goes to sleep, you have to be up before the rooster as well as house. Sometimes you have to walk and it's frequently too cold or too hot. In the light of this, I reckon that your comfort is as important as your photographic eye and technique.
You can't - or at least I can't - take great picture if you're tired, hot, or cold. I can not walk if my feet are raw or if I am fed up with having a sunburnt neck. There are some basic steps you can take to ensure your comfort level is as high as possible, even though you can't control the weather. You'll be free to shoot masterpieces once all your personal needs have been cared for. The following list contains a number of the points whom I think are essential for any landscape photography excursion:

Put on a top that has a collar.
Consistently carry a hat: these are vital in both hot and cold climates.
Wear good hiking boots that are waterproof with thick socks.
Take energy bars to eat.
Carry a complete water bottle.
If it's bright don't' forget your sunblock.
Require a torch in case you get lost and you also have to find your way in the dark.
A space blanket is useful in the event you must stay warm, and it folds down to a tiny size.
Take a mobile phone in the event of emergency, battery full charge.
In case you are driving remember to watershed your car: park it near a huge tree or rock, for example - it's easier to get lost than you may think.
A compass will help too (however do not leave it in the auto!)
